The file names/folder structure were all there but when you tried to view an image or read text nothing was readable (the files were the same size as before the reset). Headphone jack stopped working so Samsung support recommended a factory reset to rule out software problem.Īfter backing up with the smart switch program and factory reset were performed, the files on the sd card couldn't be read properly. Android devices come with many security options, the most obvious being the option to set a password or visual pattern lock to stop others from accessing. I did the same thing with my S7 edge but managed to fix the problem.
